Knox Box for First Responder Program

The Oak Harbor Fire Department came to the OHSC Foundation with a need for the community. Our local first responders are responding to the homes of older adults who live alone in our community for emergencies and cannot get into the home without breaking a door or window.  The Knox Box is a secure way to provide first responders with a key to your home, however, the people who need it most also could not afford the cost of a Knox box. The Foundation raised funds for and purchased many approved Knox Boxes that our OHFD can check out and install at the homes of those in need.
